I am now going into my 7th year of teaching at CCA. I have now been teaching with Rockyview for almost 10 years. Before that, my family and I were missionaries in Belize, CA for just over 12 years, and before that in Baja, Mexico for 4 years. I have been in education for over 25 years, but when we returned to Canada I went back to Ambrose for a term of classes and a practicum in order to be decertified in Alberta. I get a little homesick for the jungle and the Caribbean every now and then, but I'm so grateful for the opportunities God has given me to do what I love. God has given me a curiosity and love for learning and one of my favourite things is helping others develop that love as well. If I have your child as one of my students, please know that I am praying for them, and I will help them feel they are in a safe learning environment that will foster a love for God as well as learning. This is not quite my first time teaching grade six, but it's been a while. We will all be learning together. It's my hope that as we navigate this unique time, we maintain as much normalcy as possible.
