Telus SPARK Science Centre

March 03, 2016 Field Trip to the Telus Spark Science Centre in Calgary (by the Zoo). Please make sure they have a small backpack they can carry, water bottle, full lunch with a snack, walking shoes, and a light jacket (weather dependent). Students will not be able to go to all of the exhibits at the science centre based off of content (they will only be able to attend the child-appropriate exhibits - volunteers will be informed of the exhibits they are able to attend). The students will be doing the junior architecture program because we are starting the BUILDING/BOATS AND BUOYANCY unit this month.

Dentist FT April 29th

We will be walking to Bow View Dental Care (5 km walk round trip). This will require students to be prepared for a longer walk (just like the zoo). We will be taking breaks during our walk to explore, have water breaks, and snack breaks. I need 4 volunteers for this FT.
